The track is open on Saturdays only between 11 am and 4 pm and used for practice laps only. No racing. The club welcomes all Motocross and Enduro riders.
The fees are per afternoon, per rider (NOT per bike):-
Adults - £15.00
Children on up to a 100cc bike - £10.00
Children on over 100cc bikes - £15.00 (riding in kids or adults sessions)
The training oval is for children from 6 years old who ride 50cc automatics and 65cc bikes.
There is a large car park, drive slowly, and park in a considerate manner. You are not allowed to ride bikes in the car park.
There is a briefing before riders are allowed out on the track so come early, if possible walk the track before you ride.
Parents are expected to marshal for their children when they ride on the main track and on the training oval, safety measures will be explained to you and a high viz vest must be worn, so expect to get muddy. There are consent forms for Parents / Carers to sign and for you to sign on behalf of your children. Parents / Carers must stay with their children throught the session.
Always accompany your children to the toilet and wait with them. Any reports of unacceptable behavior will be reported to the Police or appropriate agency.
There is a porta-loo on site but no free drinking water.
We have the Food Wagon on site for tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cans of drink, bottled water, hot dogs and baked potatoes with a variety of toppings, crisps and chocolates for all to refuel.
There is a First Aid Kit with a working mobile at the registration table. There are also First Aiders on site. However, we find the best course of action to be, in case of an accident, to call for an ambulance. The track is only 5 mins from St. Peters Hospital.
Please ensure that your bike is safe and suitable to be ridden on this type of track and that you wear the correct safety equipment e.g. helmet, long sleeved shirt, padded trousers, chest protector, elbow pads, knee pads, kidney belt, gloves, neck brace, goggles and suitable motocross boots.
The club will also check the sound level of your bike, if it is too loud you will not be allowed to ride. 4 Stroke bikes must have the silencer inserrts fitted.
There are a lot of notices at the registration table, please take the time to read them. You will be asked to sign on, read the paragraph at the top of the sheet.
