- There is a large car park, drive slowly, and
park in a considerate manner.
- You are not allowed to ride bikes in the car park. This rule will be enforced.
If possible
walk the track before you ride.
Parents are expected to
marshal for their children when they ride on the main track and on the training oval, safety
measures will be explained to you and a high viz vest must be worn, so expect to get muddy.
There are consent forms for you to sign and for you to sign on behalf of your children. These must be
filled out before you ride.
All forms that you give your details
on i.e. membership form, signing on form, are kept locked away. These details are never given out to anyone.
There are two porta-loos on site but no free drinking water.
Always accompany your children to the toilet and wait with them. Any reports of unacceptable behavior will be reported
to the Police or appropriate agency.
We have the PIT STOP on site for tea,
coffee, hot chocolate, cans of drink, bottled water, hot dogs, burgers and baked potatoes with a variety of toppings,
crisps and chocolates.
There is a First Aid Kit with a working mobile at the registration
table. There are also First Aiders on site. However, we find when there is an accident, the best course
of action is to call for an ambulance. The track is only 5 mins from St. Peters Hospital.
Please ensure that your bike is safe and suitable to be ridden on this type of track and that you wear
the correct safety equipment e.g. helmet, long sleeved shirt, padded trousers, chest protector, elbow pads,
knee pads, kidney belt, gloves, neck brace, goggles and suitable motocross boots.
The club will also check the sound level of your bike, if it is too loud you will not be allowed to ride.
Do not take offence if your bike is found to be too loud and do not abuse the committee member checking. The club MUST observe
the 94dbs noise level as per ACU guidelines.
All bikes will be checked when you go to sign on. 4 stroke bikes MUST HAVE silencer inserts fitted— NO INSERT = NO RIDE.
There are a lot
of notices at the registration table, please take the time to read them.
Children under 18 must be signed on by a parent
or guardian and you must stay with your child throughout the session.
If your child is under 16 you must marshal for them.
There are no bike washing facilities at the track, however, you are welcome to bring your own water and
pressure washers.
